Büsra Kuzay completed her law studies at the University of Bielefeld and successfully passed the first state legal examination in 2022. Her great passion for criminal law led her to take the university specialization exam in criminal procedure and defense.
She is currently a legal trainee at the Bielefeld District Court. During her traineeship, she gained in-depth insights into the work of a judge over the course of five months and actively participated in drafting judicial decisions. Additionally, she gained three months of experience in a prosecutorial department, where she regularly served as a session representative for the Bielefeld Public Prosecutor’s Office. She completed her administrative placement at the Bielefeld Social Services Office, where she dealt with various administrative matters. Particularly enriching was her nine-month placement with a criminal defense attorney, where she gained comprehensive insights into the practice of criminal defense. During this time, she worked on both court and out-of-court submissions.
Büsra Kuzay is fluent in both German and Turkish at a native speaker level.
