Criminal Law

Criminal Law includes substantive criminal law (the source of which is the Turkish Criminal Code), formal criminal law (the source of which is the Code of Criminal Procedure) and the law of execution (the Law on the Execution of Criminal and Security Measures).

In the systematics of the Turkish Penal Code, an offence is considered to be an unlawful and defective act in accordance with the elements of the legal offence type (typical). What constitutes an offence is regulated in the Turkish Penal Code and numerous special laws containing criminal norms. There are numerous elements that will ensure that an act constitutes an offence and ceases to be an offence.

GA Law Office provides legal support and litigation in terms of offences stipulated in many special laws, primarily the offences under the Turkish Penal Code.
