Dilara Tetik completed her law studies at the University of Bielefeld and the University of Münster and successfully passed the First State Examination in Law in 2023. As part of her legal education, she completed a two-year specialized foreign language program (Fachspezifische Fremdsprachenausbildung – FFA) in Turkish legal language at Bielefeld University.
She is currently a legal trainee at the Regional Court of Dortmund. During her traineeship, she gained in-depth insights into judicial work over the course of five months while assigned to the Local Court of Lünen, where she actively participated in the drafting of judicial decisions. In addition, she completed a three-month placement at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Dortmund, where she was regularly entrusted with courtroom representation and gained practical experience in criminal prosecution.
She further completed a two-month placement at the Administrative Court of Gelsenkirchen and a one-month administrative placement at the Legal Department of the City of Schwerte, where she dealt with various matters of public and administrative law.
Particularly enriching was her nine-month attorney placement, which she completed with an initial three-month placement at an insurance company followed by six months at a law firm. During this time, she gained comprehensive insights into both court-related legal work and out-of-court legal advisory practice.
Since December 2025, she has been completing her elective traineeship (Wahlstation) at GA Law Office in Istanbul, where she further deepens the knowledge acquired during her specialized foreign language training and gains practical insight into the Turkish legal system and comparative legal practice.
Dilara Tetik is fluent in German and Turkish at a native-speaker level and has a good command of English.
